Join us for Carving Classes designed for all ages and all skill levels

Over the years Chipping Away has been host to a number of really great learning opportunities. In the early 2000s a carvers’ conference was organized which ran for 3 years, bringing together hundreds of carvers from across North America to share in the art of wood carving. After the conference ended in 2005, Chipping Away  continued to offer classes for all skill levels for a decade. Wonderful memories of the amazing teachers and the enthusiastic students who came out to build on their craft still reminisce to this day. 

Chipping Away has a brand-new space that they cannot wait to space for carvers of all skill level. We encourage you to join in.
The time has come to start fresh, bringing folks together, offering lessons in carving, painting, and pyrography. We are working on a teacher community that will help engage learners, bring a new perspective on interesting project lessons, tested techniques, and a fresh look with the help of a group of highly skilled instructors.

Please Note: A $50 deposit will be taken at the time of registration, a refund will only be given for cancellations made seven business days prior to the training session/workshop start date. If for any reason the class is cancelled on behalf of Chipping Away, a full refund will be given.
