Young Fox Pyrography

Learn to wood-burn a Young Fox with Jennifer Sauder.

This will be Jennifer’s second time in our classroom. If you took her first class this past spring, you may want to follow up with this one. In this class you will learn all about Jennifer’s process. How to transfer an image to wood, wood-burning techniques, and coloring and sealing your finished work.

This young fox design is great for Pyrography artists in the early stages of learning to the more experienced pyrographers wanting to explore new techniques. You will be sure to learn something new regardless of your skill set. Jennifer will take you step by step through this workshop here in the studio, and at the end of the class you will have a piece of your own to take home!  At only 105$ per person, you can have a fun and educational afternoon with other pyrographers. This class is also a great peer building activity for co-workers or social bonding activity.

This class is 6 hours long, from 10am to 4pm with a 30 minute break.

Jennifer Sauder is a longtime customer of Chipping Away, She is a talented pyrographer who specializes in pet portraits and small business branding. She has lots of experience under her belt and is excited to share her wisdom in pyrography with you in this workshop!

Required tools:

Wood-Burning supplies

Wood-Burning pens. A skew, a writing , and a shader tip style pens is a good selection for this class, but please bring whichever pens you have and Jennifer will guide you on which to use for this project.

Chipping Away does have some wood burner units available for rental for this class. Please let us know ASAP if you will need to rent one.

This Class will be held Saturday October 24th, 2026 from 10am-4pm

Registration deadline will be October 10th as material preparations are required.

Max. number of students is 8, space is limited.
