Arkansas Stones are all-purpose stones suitable for maintaining a keen edge on all knives and tools.  Furthermore, the Hard Arkansas Stone is considered the “stone that built America”.

Quarried in Arkansas, Novaculite is not found anywhere else in the world.  The unique structure of Novaculite means the stone will retain its abrasion characteristic and shape.  These sharpening stones are composed of 99.9% pure silica.  Their ability to remove less material than other abrasive products, hence, makes Novaculite unique.  Because the stone is naturally durable it is able to perform numerous tasks without lapping or flattening.

Arkansas Stones were used to sharpen and produce the earliest of tools in America.  The stone is prized for its range of versatility.  Furthermore, they have the ability to maintain tools in pristine condition from the smoothest blade to the sharpest edge.  Consequently, Novaculite stones are applicable to virtually any blade edge industry.
