These sharpening stones are composed of 99.9% pure silica. Their ability to remove less material than other abrasive products, hence, makes Novaculite unique. This stone is for work that requires a smooth finish, but not the finest polish. This stone will provide a final hone and polished edge. Use a strop for the finest polish.
