This Woodland Wonders Cut-out Kit is approachable for beginners to tackle and learn from, or for experienced carvers it is a great opportunity to hone your techniques! (practice makes perfect). This kit is designed with key carving techniques in mind for you to practice your in-the-round carving skill set in an engaging way and without the stress of designing from scratch.

 Such is that when completed it makes for an excellent gift for your grandchildren or young children. These designs are great for open-ended and creative play! (Finish with food safe paints or finishes).

This Woodland Wonders Cut-Out Kit includes the following cut-outs from our quality northern basswood.

• 1 Acorn block cut-out
• 1 Leaf cut-out
• 1 Pinecone block cut-out
• 1 Mushroom cut-out
• 1 Squirrel cut-out

Each cut out has the design and additional carving information glued onto one corresponding side of the cut-out as additional assistance. Carving step-by step instructions are not included. It is recommended you know the basics of woodcarving such as V-cuts, Stop cuts, and some general knife handling experience before attempting this project. Youtube has lots of great videos you can watch to learn more about woodcarving basics from. Please wear a glove!
