This Proxxon AC Adapter NG2 comes in a compact Noryl casing. The Noryl material is heat resistant and recommended for transformers. It has a capacity of and 12 Volt under load. DC is the primary supply at 110-120V.

The Polarized socket is for other Proxxon tools that use the 3 prong MICROMOT plug. It has a Red LED which indicates readiness for use. In addition, its modern design with holes for storing bits. Also, the foldable tool rest provides a secure place for keeping the tool ready for use.
Because the NG2 has a PTC (Positive temperature coefficient) element prevents overload. The plugged in tool will, therefore, not automatically restart. After cooling down, the AC wall plug should be disconnected briefly to reset the adapter.
