The Preyda Arkansas stones are quarried in the mountains of Arkansas, made from
novaculite. This material is not found anywhere else in the world. Their ability to remove less material than other abrasive products is what truly makes them unique. The stone is naturally durable. As a result they will perform for extended periods of time without lapping or flattening. Sharpening surface of each stone measures 8″ x 1-5/8″.

The leather strop is made right in our Chipping Away shop.  We mount Heavy Duty premium
leather on both sides of a hard-board paddle. Measures 7″ x 2″ x 12″ with a stropping surface of 2” x 7”.

The brass head mallet; this 12oz mallet provides unequalled control and balance in a compact
design. A real extension of the craftsman’s hand. Thus improving control in delicate areas and heavier removal when needed.

The green compound is a blend of both chromium and aluminum oxide. This combination is optimal for cutting speed and fine finish. Perfect for stropping your carving tools with.
