Our Chickadee Carving Kit Beginner includes everything you need to carve a Chickadee. It is a really fun kit. Carving tools are not included however.
The pattern included shows various anatomy and feather line drawings. This is not a step-by-step carving guide and does not include carving instruction. Yet, George does offer various tips and techniques you will find helpful. The quality basswood cutout is first quality and therefore blemish free. In addition to the pair of cast pewter feet, the glass bird eyes are made in the USA.
These Beginner Kits are not intended for children because they require some understanding of tools and how to use them. Most adults will, therefore, be able to complete the bird and be happy with the results.
