A must-have for all wood carvers.  Our genuine leather guards are sewn with an elasticized insert to ensure they stay put!. We use a 'wrap-around' style on both the sides and ends for extra protection. The thumb guard gives protection when using a 'pushing' stroke on your knife as well as when 'pulling' the knife toward your thumb.  You really should not carve without either the finger or thumb guard.  Prevents you from adding 'color' to your work (yes, that red color).

Our Contender™ gloves protect against heat and cut hazards and feature double-sided PVC dots. The glove is ambidextrous, for a comfortable fit on either hand.
