Carving Gloves Kevlar

Carving Gloves made of Kevlar are a must for woodcarving.  They are cut resistant and provide a high level of safety.

OUR KEVLAR GLOVES are made of woven Dupont Kevlar yarn and offer excellent durability and cut resistance.  While these gloves do not provide the same level of protection as our steel mesh style, they are good quality and excellent value.

In addition, both styles of gloves come with a rubber dotted coating on both sides which provides a non-slip grip.  Price is for a single glove ~ they fit either hand.

We all want to enjoy our carving but keeping our hands protected in a way that doesn’t compromise our dexterity, feel or grip is important.  We will be able to carve for longer and without fear of damage to our hands.

But please remember that although safety gloves offer protection, they will only safeguard you to a certain extent.  If enough pressure is applied to a tool then don’t be surprised if you receive some sort of wound.  No matter how high the glove may have scored on cut or puncture resistance, there is still risk when using sharp tools.  That said, the injury will probably be a lot less severe had you not worn a glove at all.  So make sure you wear gloves when working with knives.
