These Contender Safety gloves are a single, not a pair. This is because only one Glove being required for wood carvers and Pyrographers.

Our Contender™ gloves (Yellow) protect against heat and cut hazards and feature double-sided PVC dots. The glove is ambidextrous, for a comfortable fit on either hand. The PVC dots allow for breathable grip and protection. ParaActiv™ engineered yarn provides 360° cut protection with ANSI A6 cut resistance and ANSI 3 heat protection.  Therefore making them ideal for pyrographers and wood carvers. Wood burning heat often radiates up from the pen and burning fingertips.

Furthermore, the Contender Safety glove with ANSI A6 is the highest cut resistant protection rating possible. Due to this quality, it helps ensure more peace of mind protecting as you carve.  PVC dots along the palm and back of the hand offer steady grip that is more breathable and flexible than full coverage gloves. These Contender Safety gloves are latex-free to reduce the risk of allergic reactions, their ambidextrous design makes them reversable to increase wear life. Only one glove worn is ideal when carving. The one glove worn on the hand that holds the wood. For the Pyrographers use on your dominant hand to protect from heat. Our yellow Glove is thicker overall.

Our Contender™ gloves (Grey) protect against heat and cut hazards and feature double-sided PVC dots for breathable grip. ParaActiv™ engineered yarn provides 360° cut protection with ANSI A4 cut resistance and ANSI 2 heat protection. A knit construction offers more flexibility, dexterity and comfort, making them ideal for handling hot parts while PVC dots along the palm and back of the hand offer steady grip that is more breathable and flexible than full coverage gloves. Latex-free to reduce the risk of allergic reactions, their ambidextrous design makes them reversable to increase wear life. For carving, Just one glove is needed which is worn on the hand that holds your carving.
