Trident tools are made in the Ukraine using quality materials, Each tool blade is hand cut, ground and polished. The hardwood handles have great comfort and easy control.
The flat chisel tool is great for wood carving to create clean straight cuts or knock corners off a block. You can also create stop cuts and smooth out gouge impressions on relief carvings and in the round projects. Trident is currently making just one size in with a flat profile 30mm.
The Trident #1 Flat Chisel blade of the chisel tapers from the cutting edge to the handle, providing leverage and stability during use. The width of the blade provides leverage for preforming larger, more aggressive cuts and removal of waste.
Hand Woodcarving Tools & Accessories
The power handled tools feature a fixed 4-1/2" ash handle and are best suited for larger profiles which are not be easily pushed with one hand. Because of their added length (7-1/2" overall) these handles are suitable for two hand operations or light mallet work.
