The manufacturer uses quality tool steel which is tempered to 60d Rockwell for excellent edge-holding ability. We keep a large inventory so we can ship to you quickly. While these tools are fairly inexpensive, don’t let the price fool you! They are a decent quality and with proper care will serve you with years of carving enjoyment.
