Revolving Tool holders are not new to carvers. Rick Jensen and others use a commercially produced caddy and store them in one of those 5 gallon plastic pails that are used to package a multitude of household products from detergent to food items. During Rick's recent class at Chipping Away a number of the students wanted to get one. They are great for holding/storing your carving tools; will keep cutting edges protected (and safe for you too); organizing the sweeps and sizes for quick retrieval; and have the added benefit of being able to see any empty spots which signals a missing tool.

Pop has 'purchased permission' from a US producer of a popular holder for Chipping Away to manufacturer our own version. While there is not a patent on the caddy, Pop would not even consider infringing on another company's idea without an understanding and permission.

This Large Caddy stands approximately 17" tall including the basswood egg top. You can carve the egg for that personal touch!

The base (which has a smooth ball-bearing turntable) and bottom tier are 10" in diameter and the second tier is 7". The bottom tier has 7/8" holes for 24 tools, the top tier has 14 holes on the outer circumference and another 9 inside of those. There are a number of 3/8" holes spaced randomly for pencils, picks, scribes, etc.
