Cotton Buffing Wheels

COTTON buffing wheels are more economical ~ no doubt about it. But you must be careful when using them so as not to 'round over' the edge of your tool. Our cotton wheel, however has been stitched in 7 rows making for a harder wheel. 6" diameter and 1/2" thick with 1/2" bore.

V-Edge Felt Buffing Wheels

FELT V-Edge WHEELS Are used for final polishing, de-burring, honing & to give the razor edge. Simply charge wheel while running with compound. Quality natural hard 100% New Zealand wool felt is used, so compound stays on longer. Unlike soft muslin & cotton wheels, hard felt will not round edges & lasts for years. V-edge wheel used for de-burring, honing & polishing of V tools & narrow gouges. Maximum safe speed for felt wheels: 3,450 RPM. Hole: 1/2".

NOTE: As with all grinding wheels, hard felt wheels must be trued by the end user to ensure smooth operaation. Truing tips and techniques are sent with each felt wheel we sell. The good news is that if the user does not remove the wheel from the grinder, the wheel is most likely not require further truing (or at least very rarely)
