All Denny gouges are made of the finest O1 tool steel. The blades are shaped by hand prior to tempering to 60Hrc.  The tools come sharpened and polished, ready-to-use and will hold their edge extremely well.

Denny makes his oak handles the sizes most suitable for carvers that hold thier projects in their hand ...like caricatures, etc.   They have been shaped in relation to the blade size, sanded, and sealed.

All of his carving gouges are glued and riveted for extra holding power.
