Helvie Knives are proudly made in the USA and have a well deserved reputation for their excellent quality. Each blade is hardened to 60hd Rockwell and made from tungsten carbon steel. They come razor sharp, polished and ready to use. Their beautiful handles are made from laminated Pakawood which is impregnated with clear resin and bonded under high pressure for strength and durability. Pakawood has the natural beauty of finished wood but also a higher resistance to heat and moisture.
The Detail Knives have blades approximately 1 1/2" long.
