Our Basic Wood Carving Tools are great for beginners and value conscience wood carvers.

Our Basic woodcarving tool sets are made in USA and are great for beginner and value conscience carvers. These sets, because they are Budget Priced however, do required a final honing and stropping before they are ready for use. For Beginner Carvers that are not experienced in sharpening, we recommend you purchase the tools already honed (a service provided by Chipping Away). The nominal fee of $1.00 per tool is well worth the investment. The polished high carbon steel boasts a HRc60 hardness that will hold an edge forhours.
The Palm Style handles (approximately 5" overall) are best for those with larger hands and the Long Handle Style (approximately 6" overall) is more suitable for smaller hands.
