The Mini Grinder is excellent for quickly shaping and detailing furniture accents, pattern making, signs, relief carvings and sculptures, bowls, burls, etc. The 2 inch (50mm) diameter blade together with the 6" long extension arm allows rapid stock removal and access into confined areas. This option gives you a Mini Grinder mounted on a Bosch 1375A Angle Grinder and is ready to use. If you would like to use the Angle Grinder for "other than" powering the Mini Grinder than this is a wonderful option. You can use the Bosch Grinder to power the 4" Industrial Pro or Freestyle Blade (or other common grinding accessories) as well as the Mini Grinder. Removing and replacing each kit does take time and must be done with care ~ but for those that are economy minded it is an option to the MIN400 above that is a dedicated kit.

Arbortech Mini Grinder Kit - MIN200

The MIN200 comes with the 6" Extension Arm; 4 Mounted Sanding Discs; Two 2" Steel cutting blades and all hardware for mounting the Mini Grinder to your own Angle Grinder. The most difficult part of mounting it to your own grinder is making sure it fits the collar and that the drive belt is EXACLTY level between the two pulleys. Because there are SO MANY angle grinders available, it is impossible to know if it will fit yours. But Pop has offered some helpful suggestions at the bottom of this page and guidelines if you decide you would like to purchase JUST the MIN200 kit without our grinders. We suggest you read these carefully so as to avoid frustration. In fact, like Pop says: why not just purchase one of our complete kits as it is soooo much easier!

Mounted 2" Sanding Discs

Yes, these are expensive! The reason is that each one is mounted on a plastic backing machined to fit your Mini Grinder. So listen to Pop again: Don't throw these out after the sanding surface becomes worn! Simply purchase some standard 2" sanding discs and glue them on top of the existing disc. I will glue 3 or 4 discs on top of each other on my Mini Grinder before scraping them all off and starting over. The ONLY time you should consider purchasing a package of these discs is when you have worn out the plastic mounts. And remember ..a soft touch during use is the secret to long disc life!

Sharpening File

Use for sharpening the high speed steel blades that come with the Mini Grinder. Tip from Pop: File the teeth straight across ...do not angle them! Also keep force on the upper edge of the teeth so as to sharpen the 'hook' or you will get burning when carving.

Replacement Pulley Drive V-Belts

For long belt life, the belt MUST be perfectly aligned between the two pulleys. If aligned perfectly, you can expect many hours of use, (Pop gets around 200 hours) ....if NOT aligned perfectly, you can expect between 5 minutes and one hour depending how much the belt is out of alignment.

Will the Mini Grinder fit YOUR Angle Grinder?

Will the Power Chisel fit your angle grinder?
Would you believe there are over 300 different models of angle grinders sold throughout the world. We have attempted to package the Power Chisel Kit to fit the most popuar models with both Metric and Imperial size sindles.
Does your angle grinder have a collar that is 38mm to 44mm
(1 1/2" to 1 3/4") in diameter and minimum height of 8mm?
(the collar is used for clamping around the metal shield of your grinder)
If your angle grinder has a collar this size, the Power Chisel Kit will fit. If the collar is smaller in diameter (as is the DeWalt 402 and some Black and Decker) you will require our product MIN015 Collar Enlarging Adaptor
Does your angle grinder NOT have a collar at all?
Some angle grinders do not have a collar - in this case the metal shield that came with your grinder will screw or bolt directly into the grinder's housing. This could be real problem and you should consider getting another grinder.
